Norma and family,

I was sad and surprised to hear of Chuck's passing. Since he left Carl A. Nelson & Company, I have had no contact with him or the family. Just want you to know you all are in my thoughts and prayers and I know he will be dearly missed. He was a very kind man and I really enjoyed working with him. I hope you all find peace in knowing that he is with our Lord now.

Norma, Greg, & Family,
So shocked & sorry to hear about Chucks passing. Wonderful e-mail from Greg explaining his illness. I am planning on attending either visitation or funeral. Have had the flu the last couple days so don't know if that will happen. Talked with Ed & if he can make arrangements for kids he will come with me. May you feel Gods loving arms around you during this difficult time. My heart goes out to you!

Sincerely,
Mary Shannon

Dear Norma & family,
We are so sorry for your loss. We were unable to attend the funeral as we were out of town in northern Iowa. David had a good conversation with Chuck over lunch not long ago in Burlington. David always considered Chuck a mentor as not only was he a good engineer but a great family person that we all looked up to. We can think of no other person representing a life well lived. We hope to see you around to say "Hi!"

Love, David and Inez
