Lucia Ann Lampe, 73, of Wever, died at 1:18 pm Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born May 27, 1944, in Burlington, Iowa, she was the daughter of Warren Sanders and Janet Margaret Jackson Maurer. On March 17, 1967, she married Gerald "Jerry" Kenneth lampe in Missouri.
Lucia was the owner and chef at a restaurant and was also a licensed beautician.
She was a Burlington High School graduate of 1962.
She was a member of the former St. Mary's Catholic Church in Augusta. She enjoyed being with her family, playing billiards, cooking, crocheting, her pet dog Harley, collecting bells, Elvis impersonators, and being outdoors. She was a life long Chicago Cubs fan. She had multiple billiard trophys for shooting pool.
Survivors include husband, Gerald "Jerry" Kenneth Lampe of Wever, IA, two sons, Christopher (Heather) Lampe of Fort Madison, IA, and Joseph (Nicole) Lampe of Augusta, IA, two daughters, Kimberly (Tracy) Douglas of Springfield, MO, and Janel "Nikki" (Duane) Souder of Donnellson, IA, nine grandchildren, Martha (Brendon Bell) Lampe, Jody Souder, Jennifer (Gage) Gilman, Elizabeth Souder, Romello Virgil, Dusty Souder, Garry Lampe, Reyna Lampe, Cescily Lampe, Taylor Ann McGee, three great-grandchildren, Brantley Bell, Greyson Bell, Damian Gilman, two brothers, Mike Maurer of AR, and Steve Maurer of LA, brother-in-law, Larry Dodge of Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Sharon Dodge, and one granddaughter, Hailey Lampe.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory.
There will be no visitation or formal services at this time.
