Julia Jean Miller, 95, of Wever, died at 7:07 PM Sunday, October 29, 2017, at her home.
Born October 18, 1922, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Ernest Vahle and Florence (Andrew) Murray. On March 5, 1941, she married Ervin Miller in Kahoka, MO. He died on December 28, 1997.
She was a graduate of Burlington High School.
Julia was a member of the Burlington Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses Church. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, was always baking, playing with her grandkids, and loved to be surrounded by her family.
Survivors include her son, Richard (Linda) Miller of Wever; two daughters, Judy (Robert) Hoyer, & Jeanine Rose both of Wever; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren with one on the way.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and one son-in-law, Ron Rose.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory.
The memorial service for Mrs. Miller will be 10:00 AM Friday, November 3, 2017, at Burlington Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses with Allan Pygott officiating. Inurnment will be in Spring Grove Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
