Carolyn S. Jackson, 72, of Burlington, died at 12:48 PM Tuesday, October 31, 2017.
Born November 23, 1944, she was the daughter of Fredrick Ellsworth Jennings and Juanita T. Mehaffy Freeman.
Carolyn was a homemaker and mother to all.
She loved all babies, playing cards with her kids, going to the casino, doing crossword puzzles to “keep her brain going”, cooking, and gardening.
Survivors include three daughters, Melissa M. Seitz-Webber (Ricardo) of La Blanca, Tx, Nancy L. Jennings of Burlington, IA, and Tabatha Rosauer (Jamie) of Burlington, IA and one son Derrick A. Jennings (Teresa) of Oakville, IA, and fifteen grandchildren: Stephanie A. McAllister (Travis), Kristopher K. Seitz (Kayla), Kourtney L. Seitz, Ricky Webber Jr., Lisa Webber, Nicole Webber and Samantha Webber; Nathan A. Zippe, Elizabeth M. Zippe; Laura Wilson (Bry), Emily Rios and Zach Boyd, Silke Jennings, and Will Rios; Lydia Allen-Barnes and Davin Barnes Jr., and 37 great-grandchildren.
Carolyn had five siblings; Fredrick Jennings, Donald Jennings, Karl Jennings, Ruth Kibling, and Margaret Jennings. She also had many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one great-grand daughter, Kiara Seitz-Ramirez.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh-Thielen Crematory.
There will be no visitation or services.
A memorial has been established at Great River Hospice House.
